Tamarix del Mar is a brand new luxury hotel situated in Kamari at the foothills of ancient Thira and very close to the black sand beach of the village. Tamarix Del Mar is both modern and traditional at the same time offering its guests a unique charming environment. Tamarix is the latin name of a tree that can be seen all along the coastline of Santorini. By the time you enter the hotel a sense of friendliness fills your soul and gives you a sense of calmness that will follow you through your whole vacation time.
Tamarix Junior Suites are 35 - 40 square meters and can accommodate between 1 to 4 adults. They are uniquely furnished and decorated, offering a bedroom, a living-room area, a lunch or dinner table, a fully equipped kitchenette, satellite TV music through TV, air condition, a direct dial phone, a direct dial Internet line, a mini bar, a safety deposit box, a hair dryer, a Jacuzzi, telephone in the bathroom, music through CD player and private services. One of the Junior suites is modified to accommodate persons with kinetic disabilities.
Tamarix Superior Suites are about 50 to 65 square meters and offer 2 separate areas, a master bedroom and a living room which can also be utilized as a second bedroom. They offer the same facilities as the Junior Suites except for the kitchenette and they have a telephone in both areas. Room occupancy is between 1 - 4 persons.
Tamarix Del Mar Hotel also offers fabulous Standard and Luxury Maisonettes with their own individual color scheme, furnishings and style. They all have a mountain and swimming pool view. Most of them also offer a view of Ancient Thira, while several also have a sea view.
The Luxury Maisonettes offer all the standard facilities as well as a private rooftop Jacuzzi for 4 - 5 persons. All the maisonettes are 40 to 50 square meters and are on split levels with a connecting interior staircase. They can accommodate between 1 to 5 adults.
Standard Maisonettes offer the same facilities as the Junior Suites as well as a terrace or veranda on both levels.
Tamarix Hotel also offers two Executive Luxury Maisonettes with a private rooftop Jacuzzi for 4-5 persons offering spectacular views of the volcano rock mountainside of Ancient Thira, the swimming pool and Kamari Bay.
